THE Independent Petroleum Marketers
Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Midwest zone, said it had put measures in
place to avert fuel scarcity in Edo and Delta states and urged
consumers not to indulge in panic buying.
Zonal chair, Chief Solomon Ogbewe, who stated this, noted that buyers
were already apprehensive, but assured that the association was
handling the matter.
He disclosed that the Federal Government had lived up to expectations
so far and concerted efforts were on to wipe out the cartels causing
disaffection in the oil industry.
