Our source has it that President Goodluck Jonathan said the Federal Government of Nigeria will assist and provide technical support to Malawi in the fuel survey the country was undertaking on lake Malawi.
He said this while on a two-day State visit to Malawi.
Malawi started surveying on Lake Malawi a couple of months ago despite the border dispute issue with Tanzania.
He said Nigeria will be delighted to Provide Malawi with some technical help to drive their oil deposit survey, since we are all Africans I don't see any objection to resist helping our friends who need our assistance he said.
He however noted that he was convinced that it was important to keep good relationship with African states to enable the continent achieve sustainable and lasting development.
