Angola is set to start export of crude of about 1.67 million barrels per day this November as opposed to the earlier schedule for October, however 52 cargoes are set to load a total of 49.96 million barrels from the Angolan export terminals by November.
A preliminary crude oil export programme was published earlier which showed Angola's loading programme for October had been augmented since the initial schedule was released a month ago with the addition of three extra cargoes, which brought the expected average for October to 1.71 million barrels per day.
This month exports have been running low at about 15 month low for around 1.57 million barrels per day, which was caused as a result of maintenance work and after also due to imposition of major force by Total SA on the Girassol grade loadings.
After Nigeria , Angola is Africa's second largest producer whose export slightly rivalled Nigeria for a while in early 2010 but have thus fallen back since due to retardation in maintenance work and a natural decline at some fields.
