A senior Iraqi official said on Thursday that Iraq's central government and the country's autonomous Kurdistan have reached agreement to end the oil payment dispute after which Kurdistan pledged to continue exports and Baghdad said it will pay foreign companies working there.
This decision which settles part of a broader feud between Baghdad and Kurdistan about the control of oil and the territory which has involved major Oil companies like Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Total.
